In 1996, Kate Kirtz and Nell Lundy released Jane: An Abortion Service with support from the Independent Television Service and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

Based on extensive research and numerous interviews with both Jane volunteers and clients, it is a powerful tribute to the people who defied this nation's oppressive abortion laws in the dark days before the Roe vrs. Wade Supreme Court decision.

In 1995, Dorothy Fadiman released From Danger to Dignity: The Fight for Safe Abortion. Part of a three part series on the history of abortion called From the Back Alleys to the Supreme Court and Beyond, it features interviews with Jane leaders Ruth Surgal and Jody Parsons. 

From Danger to Dignity places Jane within the larger political movement for reproductive rights and explores other "abortion underground" groups and individuals.The video has r been translated into Spanish.
